Fr. Francisco Vanderhoff-Boersma sent a picture of his restored house after the earthquake of last year in the Isthmus of Mexico. His house, as well as 8000 houses in his region, were destroyed. Fr. Francisco’s house, while still standing needed to be torn down and totally renewed. The picture shows his new house. It only needed a door and a window yet, Francisco wrote last week. It has been a difficult year, but on Sunday he celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination among his people. Last year the Region contributed 10,000 euro for the rebuilding projects in his village.
