On Thursday May 10, the Archdiocese of Toronto appointed Fr. Aegidius Warsito as the pastor of St. Thomas More and Our Lady of the Rosary parishes in Scarborough. In the same mailing the Region  received notification of the appointment as Associate Pastors of these parishes of Fr. Martin Kadamattue Antony and Fr. Antonio Resende Pereira with all the faculties, duties, rights and privileged according to the norms of law.

The appointment as Pastor of Fr. Aegidius goes into effect June 1.
The appointment as associate pastor of Fr. Kadamattu Antony also goes into effect on June 1. The appointment as associate pastor of Antonio Resende Pereira goes into effect on September 1, 2018.

The installation of Fr. Aegidius as pastor will take place on June 1 or soon thereafter by Most Reverend Vincent Nguyen, Auxiliary Bishop of Toronto.

On June 1 the term of office as pastor of Fr. Willyans Prado Rapozo at the two parishes will end. As a Region, we want to extend our sincere thanks to Wills for his ministry to the two parishes. The Region is very grateful. Wills will now move to our community house at 58 High Park BLvd for the duration of his studies. The Region hopes that like the other members of the community house he will remain available to provide assistance to the parishes, in accordance with the requests made by the new pastor. We wish him well in his studies.
